A reporter for the BBC World Service has posted a new report about the closing of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and the crisis in the newspaper industry.

In addition to interviewing Gene Stout, reporter Vincent Dowd talked to Steven Swartz, the new president of Hearst Newspapers; and Janine Gibson, editor of guardian.co.uk.
