Seattle photographer Alex Crick is a frequent contributor to GeneStout.com. His specialty is music photography, and he has a flair for capturing the essence of a live performance in a single frame.
His interest in photography began in high school in the early ’90s. He now travels throughout the country to photograph music events. His work has appeared in Spin, Billboard and Esquire.
Over Labor Day weekend Crick was at Bumbershoot working long hours to photograph live sets by AWOL Nation, Gotye, Hey Marseilles, Jane’s Addiction, Mac Miller, Mudhoney, Passion Pit, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings and Skrillex, among many others.
