Beloved Northwest band Sleater-Kinney finishes its tour in Seattle

“Where is the love?” Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway famously asked in 1972.

“Here,” riot-grrrl survivors Sleater-Kinney answer in 2014. “Right here in Seattle.”

Sleater-Kinney is now ending its “No Cities to Love” tour on May 8 and 9, 2015, at Seattle’s Showbox at the Market; tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 12:

The tour kicks off with a sold-out Feb. 8 Spokane show at the Knitting Factory, although tickets still remain for dates in Berlin, Germany March 18 and Paris, France March 20.
