To the delight of tween and teen girls throughout the country, Miley Cyrus, the star of TV’s “Hannah Montana,” is hitting the road for a 45-date tour.

The highly anticipated trek opens Sept. 14 with a show at the Rose Garden in Portland, Ore., before rolling into the Tacoma Dome for a concert Sept. 16.

Tickets, $39.50-$79.50, go on sale Saturday, June 13, at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster (those buying tickets for the Portland show should contact the Rose Garden Web site).

Opening act for the cross-country tour is pop group Metro Station. The tour is presented by Walmart, which will launch Cyrus’ new line of apparel in August.
