“Sweet Dreams,” the amazing Patsy Cline tribute that made its debut last March, returns on what would have been Cline’s 77th birthday.
At 7 and 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at the Triple Door, Northwest singer-songwriters Star Anna, Rachel Flotard, Kristen Ward, Kim Virant, Victoria Wimer-Contreras and others pay tribute to the Nashville icon with “Sweet Dreams,” an evening celebrating Cline’s enduring music.
The “Sweet Dreams” show last March at the Columbia City Theatre was a magical evening featuring a roster of extraordinary local artists who share a passion for such classics as “Walkin’ After Midnight,” “I Fall of Pieces,” “Crazy,” “Sweet Dreams” and other songs. You can read my story about that show here.
Tickets are $20, and $2 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. Get all the details here.
Hatch Show Prints, the legendary Nashville print shop that made original concert posters for Cline, Johnny Cash and others, created the poster at the top of the page. It’s similar to the one Hatch made for the March show.
