Justin Timberlake’s new video for “Mirrors” spans decades, tracing a couple’s lifelong relationship with a sweeping, cinematic storyline.
There’s also a lot of cool dancing and fancy footwork by Mr. T.
“Mirrors” is the second single (“Suit & Tie” was the first) from Timberlake’s current album, “The 20/20 Experience.” The debut was featured during the CW’s broadcast of the Target Presents The IHEARTRADIO Album Release Party With Justin Timberlake filmed March 18 at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles.
The video was directed by Floria Sigismondi, who has worked with David Bowie, Muse and Pink.
Timberlake, the winner of multiple Grammy and Emmy Awards, debuted “Mirrors” at the BRIT Awards in February, and it has been a No. 1 hit in Great Britain for three weeks.
The Memphis-born heartthrob and former member of boy band ‘N Sync plans to release another album later this year and open his “Legends of the Summer” stadium tour with Jay-Z July 17 in Toronto.
Timberlake performed a not-so-secret headlining show at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, last weekend. Read a review from the National Post here.
