Indie rockers ruled Bumbershoot’s smaller stages on Sunday, the second day of the 40th annual festival at Seattle Center.

All were Northwest bands (except for Los Angeles power-pop group Crash Kings) performing on such stages as Center Square Stage, Broad Street Stage, Starbucks Stage and EMP’s Sky Church.

Bumbershoot: Seattle’s Music & Arts Festival spanned three days (Sept. 4-6) and offered hundreds of musical performances, as well as comedy shows, theatrical events, films, arts and crafts vendors and “spectacle.”

Some of the top performers of the weekend were The Decemberists, Neko Case, Bob Dylan, Rise Against, Hole, Weezer, Drake and Mary J. Blige. Read Mikel Toombs’ review of Courtney Love and Hole here.
