In what may be the most international lineup in the history of 107.7 The End’s Deck the Hall Ball, Seattle’s The Head and the Heart will represent the city’s vibrant hometown music scene.

At the 21st annual holiday show Dec. 3 at KeyArena, the six-member band joins New York’s Vampire Weekend, along with Phoenix (from France), Lorde (New Zealand), Chvrches (Scotland); and Alt J, Arctic Monkeys and Foals (all from England).

Deck the Hall Ball begins at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at KeyArena. Tickets are $47.70, $77.50 and $127.70 VIP (800-745-3000 or ticketmaster.com).

The Head and the Heart, which formed after meeting at “open mic” sessions at Conor Byrne pub, released its sophomore album, “Let’s Be Still,” in mid-October on Sub Pop Records. The album’s first video is “Shake.”

The band features Josiah Johnson, Jonathan Russell, Charity Rose Thielen, Chris Zasche, Kenny Hensley and Tyler Williams.

“Unlike the group’s first album, which celebrated togetherness, ‘Let’s Be Still’ reflects nostalgia for lost ‘alone time,’ and is peppered with unfulfilled relationships, melancholy and even a little self-consciousness,” wrote Seattle Times music critic Paul de Barros in a recent feature story on the band.
